Life's a river, you gotta go where it takes you.
Sometimes it is all so muddy and
messy and dirty and stinky I can't stand it. Then I am reminded to live
like the lotus. This is the key symbol for the spiritual aspirant.
The lotus flower has its roots in the muddy waters but it blooms above,
untouched by the murky waters below.
I wonder how much our attitude and perception matter in life. We all are surrounded by different kind of people. Some of the are good to you and some of them are bad. I think it is the attitude and your perception to things which makes all the difference. As the old saying a glass is half full OR half empty. Same way, A thing/situation can be seen or felt differently by different people depending on their attitude. This is what I learn from lotus. Whatever situation you are in, live with positive attitude and do your best. Good things will come to you automatically. |
